Christmas Wish List

So Ive been a very good girl this year.  In fact I fixed Santa's belt and he told me himself I'm on the good girl list (I'm the manager of the Zip Yard, Enniskillen).  So I thought I would post a quick list of things I would love for Christmas!  This post is probably a tad late for anyone to actually go with but thought I would share anyway!

First Up Chi Chi London has to be my favourite online store at the min.  A few have made my must have list this season including the three below.  I am sure I will want a lot more in the new season also.

Chi Chi London - Clara £66.99

Chi Chi London - Ciara £66.99
Chi Chi London - Hazel £62.99

I seen this clutch in the New Look Belfast store.  I thought it was a great size with enough sparkle to bling up any look. I am a big lover of both black and gold.

New Look - Black 3D Flower Clutch £24.99

I love to support local brands.  One of Northern Irelands best Grainne Maher makes these very chic pendants which I feel are unique and statement.

Pluck and Devour - Mini Pegasus £25
Available from Fashion Vault, Spires Mall Belfast

This next bag is so unique I just have to have it.  Between the golden weaved faux leather and the long black fringing I don't no what I love most.  I would wear this with my silk black devour kimono and an all black look.  Enough Said.

ASOS.com - Glamorous Bronze Woven Clutch Bag £30

I am always on the look for metallic flats.  I am very tall (well I feel like I am very tall) so I cant always wear heels.  I spend my life trying to find cute and unique flats, the struggle is really.  I love this gladiator inspired flats from asos.com.  The caged detailing makes these little beauties a little bit more special than most other flats.

ASOS.com - Lookout Caged Pointed Ballet Flats £25.00

The perfect guilt free selection box.  Not only do I already use and love everyone of these mini products but included is a free make up lesson with benefit.  So your basically buying the make over and getting lots of free products.  This super cute box set has a RRP worth of £52.33.  The bad news is Boots.com are completely sold out online.  Al-tho I have been informed some Boots stores do have a few left so pop into your local boots and ask now while you still can!  Alternately eBay have a few at a slightly marked up price.
Boots.com - Benefit Selection Box £25.00

So I am including the next one even tho I technically purchased them for myself from myself for Christmas day.  I felt like I deserved them with all the over time I have done (not that I need a reason to justify another pair of shoes).  These extremely adorable pumps from Vivienne Westwood are very versatile and on trend in this pale blush colour.  The gold statement logo will fit in with the rest of my Westwood gold wardrobe and I just no I will get a lot of use out of these bad boys!  I own about 10 pairs of Westwood shoes and even tho I always say this about each new pair I think these are my favourite (so far!).

ASOS.com - Vivinne Westwood Blush Orb Flat Shoes £85

Lastly I no I am not getting this one for Christmas for sure as its completely sold out and wont be restocked til after Christmas (even with the help of Santa).  But I have been lusting after Kylie Jenners new lip kits.  I love every single colour in the small exclusive collection and have found it extremely hard to choose which one I would prefer.  Finally after weeks and week of going back and forth i have decided my favourite is Dolce K closely followed by Brown K.  I am so jealous if you were able to get a hold of one but unfortunately for me it wont be til next year til I get my hands on one.

lipkitbykylie.com - Dolce K $29.99

I hope everyone is able to get what they want for Christmas.
Happy Holidays!  L x

Custom Scarf for a Top Fashionista

I recently had the pleasure of designing a very cute scarf and Twilly combo for local NI fashionista Louise Vance.  Louise has a very trendy Blog called The Real Elle Woods which covers everything from fashion, cocktails to the best of everything local.  If you haven't already checked her page out I highly recommend it.

I love how she styled the items.  The contrast between the bright orange and the darker tones mixed with floral pattern really brings out the best in this very chic bag.

Ice Bar London

London is one of my all-time favourite places to visit and I try to visit as often as possible.  I Lived in London for a while doing various brand research and internships which really helped my brand mould into what it is today so its easy to see why London will always be a special place to me.

One of my favourite things about London is that it’s always ever changing and interesting.  I always try to do new exciting things when I'm in town and have been looking forward to visiting the Ice bar for such a long time.

If you have never heard of Ice Bar London here is some quick details about what makes it so interesting and unique.  The bar is the UKs only permanent Ice Bar which takes on a different concept every year.  This year for its 10th Anniversary award winning sculptor Jens Thins Ivarsson has taken on the change of a “Rock” themed bar.  The ice comes all the way from River Thorne in the North of Sweden and is crystal clear natural ice.  The bar features carved ice including 231 ice block punk belt studs, a huge 6ft tall skull you can take pictures with, a rock goddess carved into a wall mural, a whole ice bar and ice block seating to name a few.

The drinks are all served in actual ice cube glasses.  Which aren’t reused so they are personal to yourself.  They offer a range of great alcoholic cocktails and non-alcoholic cocktails one is included in the entry price.  Cocktails are cleverly named to fit the theme including “whole lotta rosie”, “smoke on the water” and my favourite “monkey Wrench” to name a few!

My favourite part of the experience has to be the designer thermal capes with matching gloves.  They are nice and cosy to keep you warm (its 5- at all times).  A practical design feature of the cape was that the gloves were attached to the cape so when you take them off to take pictures you don’t lose them!

In summary I highly recommend the bar to visitors and locals!  I can’t wait to come visit the next concept.  My top tip would be to wrap up warm.  Unfortunately due to having a meeting just before my experience I didn’t wear warm clothing and even with the cape I was chilly (not unbearably) Just wear warm clothing and enjoy your trip!
