Free'ist Scrumptious Sugar Free

I have always been a sugar lover and I find that, I over indulge in it. Sometimes all I need is something that will keep my sugar cravings at bay. Whilst I attended West Coast Cooler FASHIONWEEK last month, I came across the brand Free'ist. Free'ist is a sugar free company, who make the most delicious sugar free foods. Whether your diabetic or have a sugar addiction. You will love this brand, they make the finest foods from biscuits to popcorn! I was delighted, when I had the chance to try out this brand for myself. After a busy day at work, I sat down with my husband and tried out the range of free'ist sugar free products, with a cup of tea of course. I loved everything and I especially enjoyed the marshmallows and chocolate. I hardly could tell the difference.  I am a self confessed sugar addict and sometimes it’s nice to enjoy an alternative, without feeling like I’m missing out. I highly recommend this brand, it’s sugar free and it’s products are to die for!

GLITZBOX

There's a new and innovative subscription box in town and it has me amazed! Glitzbox is a monthly jewellery subscription box. Glitzbox allows you to borrow three pieces of jewellery every month and discover new designers. At the end of the month decide which pieces you want to buy and which you'd rather return. Every month you'll get the full subscription charge back as GLITZ credit towards the pieces, you just can't live without. I had the pleasure of trying out this fantastic high end subscription box. As it is the month of my wedding, I wanted to have some jewellery to wear the day of my wedding and the following day. When I received my box, I was wowed by the stunning designer jewellery. The first I unwrapped was a glamorous Pierees de Cielle bracelet, priced at £189. Made from the finest raw cubic zirconia, this bracelet is show stopping and I decided to wear it on my wedding day. The second was a Brass Lion Door Necklace and priced at £70.00, this would be perfect with one of my kimono's. The last piece of jewellery was a pair of  Fleur de Cielle earrings by Cielle London priced at £125.00 and they are fabulous, I wore them the day after the wedding. I personally think this monthly subscription box is a fantastic idea, especially for me as I am always attending fashion events. Save yourself money and time with the GLITZBOX monthly subscription for only £39.00 a month.

Joan Collins Timeless beauty Lipstick Review with Swatches

It has to be said my safe zone is a matte lipstick.  Mattes are my go to product so I was delighted to have the chance to try out some creamy moisturising formulas for a change.

When I first heard Joan Collins had launched a new beauty range I was so intrigued to see what she had came up with.  I expected glamour, elegance with a diva twist and its safe to say I was not disappointed.

OK firstly lets just take a second to step back and take in that packaging.  I mean just look at it.  Its straight out of a 1950s beauty campaign which is one of the strongest compliments I have given in a while.  The lipsticks comes in this weighty metal casing which just screams elegance.  Now I know what your thinking where have I seen this before?  It took me a few hours before it hit me but the packaging is very similar to another current cult following lipstick.  Charlotte Tilbury of course.

With a side by side comparison its hard to tell which is which but with the Joan Collins price point being £18 and the Charlotte Tibury at £24 I know which I will be investing my money in.  And its not only the packaging that is similar the actual products are neck in neck in quality also.

After using the lipsticks for over a week to give them a fair try I can safety say they are creamy yet long lasting!  I could wear the product for hours without it smearing or wearing.  The swatches shown are literally only one swipe so as you can see the colour pay off and pigment is impressive.  The blush pink tone shade is called Marilyn which my favourite and the warm red is called Alexis.  I found the formula has a magic plumping effect which I am always all for!

They product comes in a range of colours great for this season and I have already invested in a few more shades myself.  I mean how could I not?

Teeth Whitening at The White House Lisburn Road, Belfast Review

Back to another day of writing a blog post!  You guys may have seen recently on my social media channels I took an house out of my busy schedule during West Coast Cooler Belfast Fashion Week to have my teeth whitened.  I thought I would give you all the nitty gritty down low on my experience.

I have never had my teeth whitened professionally before so I really didnt know what to expect which made me some what nervous but after arriving in the clean modern reception area were I was greet by a very welcoming receptionist my nerves were instantly calmed.  The receptionist had me fill out a medical form to establish if the treatment was suitable for me, it also included all the answers to questions I previously had.  My form was then double checked by the practitioner to make sure everything was ok to go ahead.

When it was time for my procedure I was lead into the treatment room which was spotlessly clean.  The colour palette of the building all matches the branding which I appreciate and they even had a very fancy chair to match also!  When I got comfy in the seat with my feet up we started the shade matching for my teeth to see what our starting point would be.  I do look after my teeth but unfortunately I am a massive teaaholic which has a knock on affect on my teeth.  The treatment was done in three 15min sessions to help with possible sensitivity and to keep an eye on colour results.  I was asked to pop in the retractor myself and after they applied some gloss cream to help prevent dried/damaged lips.  The 45mins seemed like nothing at all as I laid back and watched some TV.  It was a lovely little break from my running around although I did find the retractor uncomfortable but not painful!

After the 45 minutes had passed I washed out my mouth and was shown the final results.  They seemed to be a few shades whiter which I was more than happy with.  I was made aware I could only eat white foods and was given a list of what to avoid and what I could eat to take with me which i found very helpful.  I thought I would have had sensitively to my teeth but thankfully I didn't.

Before

After

You can see a noticeable difference between the before and after pictures which were taken just before the treatment and straight after.  I am slightly paranoid about my smile so having a fresh white smile really helps with my confidence.  I have noticed in the last three days even though I am sticking closely to a white diet I have reverted back a little.  They are still whiter than before tho.

Summary
As a whole the whole experience was extremely professional from start to finish and the staff really put me at ease which can be hard to do.  For the treatment I had it will put you back £145 but I do truly believe it is worth the money for a white smile in a safe environment.  I found the process alot easier than home treatments and miles more convenient.  See the links below for booking or inquiry's.

Style Spotting - West Coast Cooler Belfast Fashion Week AW 17 Launch Event at Bullitt Belfast

You just need to look out side to see summer is well and truly over.  Most people dread to see the end of sunshine and good weather but I'm the opposite as my favourite season by far has to be autumn!  I love the colours, layers, textures and atmosphere the cooler months bring with them.  This week marked the launch of West Coast Cooler Belfast Fashion Week and with it a flock of fashionistas as usual!  WCCFW has became the most monumental fashion event in NI so of course its only appropriate they do it in style as always.  I have selected just some of my favourite looks from the exclusive event.  Bullitt hotel was packed so I unfortunately  had the difficult job of having to narrow them down!

Check our video coverage of the whole event on the link below!

What I Wore
My inspiration behind my look was 70s.  I wanted to mix textures to make the look stand out.  I includes leather, fringing, velvet, devore and beading.  The short risky playsuit is balanced by the long fringed Kimono.  I wanted the look to reflect my own personal style which I feel I achieved.

Boots - Office
Velvet Blue Playsuit - Topshop
Hand Beaded Turban - Nor Lisa Fashion Designer
Sequin Owl Bag - Vintage

I really hope you enjoyed my style picks and feel free to tag friends/family I have included also.  Full catwalk/event blog to follow.
